V-2. PRACTICIAL EXPERIMENTS OF SOVIET DESIGN, 1920s – 1930s.

The exposition is devoted to the graphic arts of the 1920s – 1930s, the pioneering experience of Soviet design (around 300 exhibits: food and perfume labels and packaging, advertisements, books, journals, posters). NEP and industrialization, chastushki and theatre productions, the achievements of Soviet power, new heroes and advertisement characters combine in a varicolored illustration of the first decades of Soviet power and represent numerous stylistic approaches, from constructivism to realism.
